Last weekend the Treeknowledge crew had a blast at Telekom Extreme Playgrounds in Hamburg/Pinneberg. Meeting and hanging with all the other wakeskaters has been a blast again – seems like the bonds within the scene are growing stronger by each year.
The level of riding was insane and big bangers like Tré- and Back-Big-Flips as well as BS-Gazelles over the kicker were thrown down. In the end Tarik couldn’t quite defend his last year’s title but placed in a happy 3rd.
Besides some discrepancies within the judging decisions throughout the weekend everybody still had a great time and we’re looking forward to next year’s Playgrounds.

Treeknowledge Wakeskates 2011 "Respect The Locals"-Tour is over: 2000 kilometers, Wakeparks in Schwandorf, Thulba, Thannhausen, Wedau, Großbeeren. Thanks to everybody, who joined the big party!

Half of the tour is over – Hangover!

On thursday, 2nd of June we’re finally taking off on our long awaited TKL-tour across the country. Tarik, Franz, Dom, Jakob, Christoph and that old beaver Bo will all be on board. First destination is Andy Kolb’s Homespot at Schwanendorf and we can hardly wait to see what the boys out there have in store for us. Next up will be the Turncable at Thannhausen, so we should make it to Thulba just in time for Wakeskate Trash on saturday where we hope to meet with lots of you for a session and party to remember. Hangover on sunday the 5th. Then we’ll head out towards Cologne and will join with our old buddies from the Romboso-Crew in Duisburg on tuesday. Wednesday will take us to Magdeburg to kill it with the Wakekillaz & the Wakeskate-Bomb. The final leg of our journey takes us back to our homebase at Grossbeeren to end the tour in style. The TKL-Crew will spend the whole weekend in the capital to party like it’s nineteen-ninetynine. So get with it and we hope to catch up with you wherever to do what we love most: skate!
